Young Enterprise Malta is committed to implement programmes adaptable for
students aged 5-12 years in order to help young students understand the
importance of business, economics and education in the workplace.
Such programmes consist of six sequential programmes, one per academic year,
offered in curriculum, based on themes which teach students understand how
people assume the roles of individuals, consumers and workers. By using
storybooks, role playing, field trips, fun activities, use of technology etc.
young students are introduced to business volunteers who help them understand
business terms and concepts which provide students with a sound background of
enterprise suitable for their tender age.
A strategy group has recently been set up between various stakeholders in order
to coordinate the implementation of these programmes which are expected to be
piloted as from the 2006-2007 scholastic year. |
