Young Enterprise Malta is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation operated through the services and involvement of volunteers and staff members. The Organisational policy, regulatory set-up and election of Executive Directors is entrusted to the General Assembly composed of paying members, alumini, volunteers, logistical and financial supporters. The General Assembly meets at least once a year in the month of February/March for the approval of the Organisation’s financial statements and the election of its Directors.

The Executive Council is the administrative body of the Organisation composed of 8 volunteer Directors. Directors together with other members of the Organisation are also divided in four permanent committees responsible for the following areas: Sponsorship & PR, Events & Activities, Program Development and Administration, Finance & Memberships.

The Executive Council obtains guidance from the Organisation’s Board of Governors composed of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Federation of Industry, the Chamber of Commerce, Malta Enterprise, the organisations’ main and corporate sponsors as well as other major exponents from local businesses.

The Chief Executive Officer, with the assistance of an office clerk, is responsible for running the organisation’s programmes, administering the Young Enterprise office and implementing the decisions of the Executive Council.
